Job Search/ACCESS Florida Center

The Housing Authority of the City of Lakeland’s Job Search Center offers our residents, especially those who are unemployed or underemployed, to utilize computers to search for employment and complete on-line employment applications. Clients are also referred to LHA training programs for those who need to enhance their computer skills. Clients will complete a brief application for our file. Also, to assist us and them, they will be asked to complete an assessment to find out what field their career interest is highest in. We will make referrals to LHA training programs for those who need to enhance their computer skills.

Clients will be invited to workshops on career planning, preparing a résumé, how to dress for employment search and after you get the job (with guest speakers).
