Invitation for Bids for Back up Electrical System for the Lha Administration Building

The Housing Authority of the City of Lakeland (LHA) will accept sealed bids from licensed and qualified contractors for a Back-up Electrical System for the LHA Administration Building as well as installing a HVAC Upgrade for certain portions of the LHA Administration Building, 430 Hartsell Avenue, Lakeland, Florida.  The work will consist of providing and installing a new 100KW diesel powered generator with 200+ gallon sub base tank, automatic transfer switch, associated wiring, new replacement panel boards, etc. and the installation of a split air conditioning system to air handlers in three locations in the building.  (Owner will supply a condenser and the three air handlers.)  Any contractor desiring to submit a bid for this project must have more than five (5) years’ applicable experience with commercial projects to be considered for this bid.

The complete Bid Package may be obtained by emailing your request to [email protected].  All bids must be submitted by 10:00 a.m., Eastern Time, on August 13, 2015 at which time, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.  Any bid received after the closing time will not be considered.
