These notices shall satisfy two separate but related procedural requirements for activities to be undertaken by the Housing Authority of the City of Lakeland.
REQUEST FOR RELEASE OF FUNDS
On or about February 27, 2017 the Housing Authority of the City of Lakeland will submit a request to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Jacksonville Field Office for the release of Federal Funds under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, for certain Public Housing Capital Program Funds, Section 8 funds, Resident Opportunity and Self-Sufficiency (ROSS) Grant Funds and Program Income Funds to undertake program activities at the Cecil Gober Villas, Dakota Park, Renaissance at Washington Ridge and Hampton Hills public housing properties for the purpose of rehabilitation and/or repair of affordable rental housing units, job development and training, family self-sufficiency and related resident activities. These are multi-year projects from March 1, 2017 through December 31, 2020.
