The Housing Authority of the City of Lakeland will be only accepting 100 pre-applications for the Public Housing 
Program (Non-HCV/Section 8) Waiting List, specifically for the following community: 

Micro-Cottages at Williamstown

The Micro-Cottages at Williamstown is an approved HUD Senior (Over 62 years of age) Community, rents are based on 30% of your monthly income. 
 
Only 100 Pre-applications will be accepted on May 21, 2018, once we have received the maximum of 100 pre-applications the waiting list will be closed.
 
HOW TO APPLY: 

Applicants must apply in person: 

1. OBTAINING A PRE-APPLICATION: 
• Applicants are encouraged to obtain and/or fill an application at the below location only. On May 21, 2018, starting at 8:00 am, the Lakeland Housing Authority will provide every person/family interested on completing a pre-application with a sequential number until we reach the number 100. Only those with a number would be allowed to complete the pre-application.   

The Lakeland Housing Authority main office at 430 Hartsell Avenue, Lakeland, Florida 33815. 
 
The LHA Public Housing (Non-HCV/Section 8) Program provides housing assistance to low-income eligible families, individuals, and/or elderly/disabled individuals. The Community counts with 48 units, 10 units are one bedroom and 38 are two bedrooms.

LHA has the following Public Housing Preferences for its site based waiting lists.

The Lakeland Housing Authority will select families based on the following preferences within each bedroom size category and based on our local housing needs and priorities: Preferences will be weighted as follows: Please bring your Veterans Card or DD214 Form. 

• Veterans from the US Forces 50 Points                                                                               
• Absence of Proscribed Crime 15 Points
• Working/Elderly/Disabled Family 50 Points
• Absence of a Misdemeanor 5 Points

Micro-casas rurales en Williamstown es una aprobada HUD Senior (más de 62 años de edad) comunidad, alquileres se basan en el 30% de su ingreso mensual. 
 
Sólo 100 pre solicitudes se aceptarán el 21 de mayo de 2018, una vez hayamos recibido el máximo de 100 pre-solicitudes se cerrará la lista de espera. 
 
CÓMO APLICAR: 
Los solicitantes deben solicitar en persona:
 
1. Obtener una pre-solicitud: 
 
• Animamos a los solicitantes a obtener y llenar una solicitud en la siguiente ubicación sólo. En 21 de mayo de 2018, a partir de las 8:00, la autoridad de vivienda Lakeland ofrecerá cada persona/familia interesado en completar una solicitud previa con un número secuencial hasta llegar al número 100. Sólo aquellos con un número se permitiría completar la solicitud previa.

El programa de vivienda pública de LHA (no-HCV/sección 8) proporciona asistencia de vivienda a familias elegibles de bajos ingresos, individuos o personas de la tercera edad/discapacitados. Las cuentas de la comunidad con 48 unidades, 10 unidades son de un dormitorio y 38 son de dos dormitorios.

LHA tiene las siguientes preferencias de vivienda pública.
 
La autoridad de vivienda Lakeland seleccionará las familias basado en las preferencias siguientes dentro de cada categoría de tamaño de la habitación y basado en nuestras prioridades y necesidades de vivienda local: preferencias serán cargadas como sigue: por favor traiga su tarjeta de veteranos o la forma DD214. 
 
• Los veteranos de los Estados Unidos 50 Puntos 
• Ausencia de delito proscritos 15 Puntos
• Familia trabajo/ancianos/discapacitados 50 Puntos
• Ausencia de un delito menor 5 Puntos
